The Holy Municipality of Al-Kadhimiya, affiliated with the Municipality of Baghdad, announced today, Monday, the details of its plan to visit the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), while noting that the plan included dividing the city into nine sections.

The Director General of Al-Kadhimiya Municipality, Ali Hashem, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The municipal departments developed a service plan and it was discussed with the Mayor of Baghdad. It included cleaning work and delivering water to 1,800 convoys, along with delivering water to health facilities spread across the geographic area of the city, which number up to 30.” “, indicating, “The blockages in the sewage sewers were treated by providing a specialized staff from the sewage department of the municipality department.”
He stressed, “The cleaning plan included dividing the city of Al-Kadhimiya into nine sectors under the direct supervision of the 14 municipal departments, and a human effort was provided from cleaning workers amounting to more than 2,000 workers distributed among the sectors, where the work was divided into 4 shifts,” pointing out that “ More than 800 metric containers were deployed on the main streets leading to the Holy Shrine, and waste bags of different sizes were provided and distributed to processions and visitors.
He stated that “the total number of mechanisms operating under the plan reached approximately 173 mechanisms,” pointing out that “the amount of waste removed and coming out of the geographical area of the municipality department on normal days amounts to 40 tons, but when the plan entered into the plan, the amount of waste raised reached 440 tons, and then increased to 650 tons.
He stated, “Fuel was provided for vehicles within the plan from the Department of Production Units affiliated with the Baghdad Municipality,” explaining, “The Municipality Department seeks to provide the best services to visitors.”
He explained, “Any blockage that occurs in the network’s sewage network is addressed, water is secured, and coordination is made with the Kadhimiya Water Project to increase pressure and ensure good delivery of water to the network.”
