Today, Wednesday, Anbar Governor Muhammad Nouri attended the expanded meeting of all governors in the Ministry of Planning. To research and determine the mechanisms for distributing the amounts proposed to the governorates in the Federal General Budget Law of 2024.
During the meeting, the governorates’ plans and the mechanism for distributing these amounts were discussed, in addition to reviewing the latest work developments in preparing for the implementation of the general population and housing census, and the necessity of preparing the requirements of the statistics departments in the governorates in order to ensure the success of the census scheduled to be implemented next November, as the census The initial pilot will be next May, while the final census will be on the twentieth of November of the current year.
The meeting discussed the projects that are supposed to be included for this year, and the necessity of directing them towards providing services to citizens, completing the listing requirements for projects, and completing the formal aspects, which are a basic and important element in the speed of listing and thus the speed of financing and implementation of projects in the governorates, and stressing that the preparation of 2024 projects must be taken into consideration. Continuing funding for these projects so that they do not stop or delay.
