Today, Friday, the government service and engineering effort team stressed the necessity of accelerating the completion of its projects in Maysan Governorate, while the governorate team explained the most important projects added to the 2023 plan.

The head of the local effort team, Nawras Abdel-Rida al-Saadi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “The government service and engineering effort team in Maysan held its regular meeting, headed by the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Technical Affairs, Dia al-Din Nazim.”
Al-Saadi added, “During the meeting, the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani were discussed, during his meeting with the Central Service Effort Team, where the necessity of accelerating the completion of the projects assigned to the team was emphasized, taking into account the accuracy of the work and working in the spirit of one team. Some matters were also discussed.” Logistical problems, and appropriate plans have been put in place to solve them.”
Al-Saadi explained: “It was also instructed to form a supervision committee, consisting of representatives of the departments working within the team with the representative of the Engineers Syndicate in the governorate, to supervise service projects and evaluate the work in a way that serves the public interest.”
He pointed out, “The appropriate mechanisms have been put in place for the action plan, after the completion of the 2022 and 2023 plans, and the preparation of the 2024 plan.”
Regarding the 2023 plan, Al-Saadi explained that “work will be done to introduce areas as new additions, within the governorate’s social and benefit projects, and to include new agricultural areas, to provide integrated services to them, including (establishing a sewage network at the entrance to the Sayed Jamil area, and constructing streets and sidewalks in the neighborhood.” Peace be upon you, and the construction of sidewalks and streets at the Sayed Jameel entrance after the completion of the sewage project, in addition to the construction of sidewalks and streets in the Gsiba area, after the completion of extending the sewage network and connecting it to the main conveyor line.
He continued: “The Sayed Jamil rain network will also be implemented, in addition to a sewage network in a number of areas of Qalaat Saleh and Al-Majjar Al-Kabir, and the establishment of a sewage payment line for Al-Kahla station, and a sewage network for the second Al-Mudathara area, in addition to covering the streets of the Al-Rahma neighborhood area in Al-Kahla district, and implementing streets.” And the sidewalks and sewers of the Henedi area in the Al-Majjar Al-Kabir district, and the rehabilitation of the electricity network in the Qasiba Al-Awala area during the next week, in addition to the rehabilitation of the Al-Rahma neighborhood electricity network in the Qalaat Saleh district.
Al-Saadi concluded, “The meeting witnessed a review of the completion rates in the areas where work is being done, including (the completion rate of the rehabilitation of the oil role area is 60%, the completion rate of the rehabilitation of Al-Maymouna Hospital is 65%, and the completion rate of a health house in the Matshar Al-Muftan area in Al-Kumait District is 50%.”) .
