The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein made a phone call with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, during which he congratulated his Kuwaiti counterpart on the occasion of his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the sisterly State of Kuwait.” He expressed his “wishes for His Excellency success and success in his new work tasks.”
He stressed, “Iraq looks forward to joint work that contributes to strengthening the close relations and interests between the two brotherly countries.”
