The English FA puts Guardiola among its priorities to coach the Three Lions

English fans are waiting for the announcement of the identity of the new national team coach, after Gareth Southgate announced his departure from his position after spending 8 years with him.
According to the English newspaper, The Independent, the local football association places Spanish Pep Guardiola, Manchester City coach, at the top of its priorities.
The English Football Association wants to sign Guardiola once his contract expires in the summer of 2025.
This means there is a possibility of appointing an interim manager for the Three Lions, pending the end of Guardiola’s journey at the Etihad Stadium, at the end of next season.
Voices have been raised in England calling for the appointment of Guardiola as coach of the national team, to exploit the abundance of distinguished players in the current squad, whom Southgate was unable to make optimal use of.
It is noteworthy that Guardiola has been coaching City since 2016, and has succeeded in imposing his dominance over the English Premier League, which he has won for the last 4 seasons.
