The Petroleum Products Distribution Company clarified one of the formations of the Ministry of Oil, today, Saturday, regarding fuel cards, their vouchers, and the duration of their expiry, while announcing the launch of the electronic card project during the next year 2024.

The Director General of the Oil Products Distribution Company, Hussein Talib, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The oil voucher is considered expired and ineffective at the end of the period specified for its use and the release of the new voucher when the supply rates reach 80%.”
Talib added, “The fuel card contains four vouchers, each voucher for a share, which is issued for a period of time, and when it is not exhausted by the citizen, it will not remain for the next winter season, but rather expires in this season.”
He pointed out, “This issue will end, and there will be automation and an electronic card (a prepaid card and an oil card at the same time).”
He stressed, “During the year 2024, this project will be launched after the distribution company and the authorized banks adopted the launch of an electronic card that will be a prepaid card and a fuel card.”
