Today, Tuesday, the Council of Ministers voted to consider March 31 and April 1 an official holiday for the Christian community.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “The Council of Ministers voted to consider March 31 and April 1, 2024, as an official holiday for the Christian community.”
He added, “This came on the occasion of their celebrations of Resurrection.”
