A statement of the framework received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, “The coordination framework held its regular meeting this Monday evening, in the office of Mohsen al-Mandalawi, Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, to discuss the latest political and security developments in the country.”
He added, “The meeting touched on the need to resolve the formation of local governments in Baghdad and the governorates, to ensure the continued provision of the necessary services to citizens.”
