He added, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani longs to hold such seminars, to engage and bridge the relationship with academic minds, in assessing the current situation in the institutional sector, quality of services, and political performance.”
He went on to say: “This symposium represents a simulation between what the government has accomplished as an executive body and the thought of long-term strategic political planning carried by minds in Iraqi academies.”
He continued, “Therefore, this symposium is a new glimmer of hope, and we are in the process of replicating this initiative in all Iraqi universities, so that the thinking mind of the nation is the university and its executive management is the public sector agencies.”
He pointed out, “The College of Political Science is one of the ancient colleges that possesses important cognitive and intellectual statures.”
For his part, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, Adel Abdel Hamza, said: “Establishing such an initiative from the Faculty of Political Science is part of establishing the link between academic platforms and decision-makers, and bridging the gap between aspirations and reality.”
He explained, “This symposium is part of the follow-up and aspirations of the College of Political Science in diagnosing problems and evaluating reality, which leads to achieving goals and solving those problems.”
