Paris Saint-Germain has decided to join a summer race for a Barcelona star who is receiving interest from some English clubs.

Numerous press reports indicated that Barcelona intends to sell Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong next summer, demanding 100 million euros.
According to the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, citing French reports, Saint-Germain is targeting to sign De Jong.
The newspaper reported that the French club wants to raise the quality of the team, especially after the confirmation of the departure of its striker Kylian Mbappe immediately after the expiration of his contract next June.
The Dutch international player is at the top of Saint-Germain’s goals, which wanted to include him in 2019 from Ajax Amsterdam before his move to Barca.
Some reports indicate that De Jong is open this time to the idea of leaving Barca after his insistence on staying in Catalonia over the past years, which opens the door for the French champion to include him.
De Jong is also receiving interest from English duo Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur
