The Iraqi National Olympic Committee announced today, Sunday, that the Asian Archery Federation has assigned the head of the Iraqi Archery Federation, Saad Al-Mashhadani, with a number of Asian tasks, within the agenda of the Asian Championships by the game federation, which will start in 2025.
The Olympic Committee stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the Asian Archery Federation appointed Al-Mashhadani as the director of the Asian Archery Championship, which will be held in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, from November 23 to 29, 2025. He was also approved as the head of the Appeals Committee for the Asian Cup Championship, which will be hosted by the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in December 2025.”
She added, “The appointment of Al-Mashhadani came in response to the activity of the Iraqi Archery Federation and its success in organizing a number of Arab, Asian and international championships. The Asian Federation also agreed to choose Iraq to organize a number of championships after the success achieved by the Federation, as Sulaymaniyah Governorate was chosen to organize the second Iraqi International Indoor Championship for the period from (6-8) December, preceded by the first West Asian Championship for the period from (1-5) December, as well as the second Arab Indoor Championship for the period from (1-5) December.”
