Baghdad/Nina/ Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani chaired a meeting of officials and directors of service departments in Nineveh Governorate, during his visit to Sinjar District, west of the governorate.
During the meeting, Al-Sudani stressed the need to take the necessary measures to release compensation to the people of Sinjar, and to reopen the service sub-departments in the districts of Sinjar and Tal Afar and their affiliated districts, in particular the departments of immigration and displacement, civil status, the national card, and the Martyrs Foundation.
Al-Sudani renewed his previous directives that all efforts should be focused on restoring life and affairs in the district to their normal state, conducting an examination of the status of school buildings in the district, and the necessity of implementing a revolution in services in Sinjar, indicating that service projects in the district and its environs will be carefully followed up by him personally.
During the meeting, Al-Sudani announced a package of projects, the most prominent of which are:
– Sinjar Hospital Project with a capacity of 100 beds.
– Rabia-Sinjar-Baaj water project, capacity 16,000 cubic metres.
– West Nineveh/Sinjar – Tal Afar – Al-Baaj projects worth 153 billion dinars, in the service sectors and the infrastructure sector.
– North District Hospital Project with a capacity of 50 beds.
Al-Sudani approved all projects, directing the speed of referral and directness, while fully adhering to the work timings and specified specifications./End 7
