AAfter “Blackbird,” the traumatic spy thriller financed by and starring Irish dancer Michael Flatley, moviegoers once thought they were safe from a luxury paradise setting bizarre drama. But now 22-year-old actor and model Damian Hurley has written and directed a soft-core erotic suspense drama set in the Caribbean, starring his sexy mom Elizabeth Hurley. Starring Elizabeth Hurley… he gives her a full-blown lesbian love scene with a nightclub singer, and Mr. Hurley very candidly grabs the camera to film as the woman’s head goes south after a lingering kiss. What can only be described as a coming moment of oral pleasure. We know the phrase “too much information”… but what about “too much content”? Is it too much Freud? Or is it just… too much?
Hurley plays Lily, a woman who dresses in mourning and revealing beachwear, sometimes wearing revealing athleisure two-pieces with sheer wraps. Lily’s daughter committed suicide last year, drowning in a bikini. Cue: Disturbing flashbacks. But now Lily invites all of the deceased’s young friends to hang out at her palatial seaside estate with her other daughter. This will bring healing. This will bring closure. This will result in a gorgeous swimsuit. But all of these pouts have horrific sex-related secrets that may or may not reveal the woman’s tragic death.
As for Liz herself, she brings serious low-cut energy to every scene and overwhelming Embonpoint dynamics to her husky line readings. Once you’ve seen the big reveal, you’ll feel like you’ve watched a hundred episodes of a saucy daytime soap opera with the saucy bits cut out. They could franchise a sequel: Dubai Secret.
