First appearing in 2005, Springwatch is an annual BBC nature series aimed at encouraging interest in British wildlife. Originally presented by Bill Oddie, Kate Humble and Simon King, Springwatch was so successful that a sister programme, Autumnwatch, was launched in 2006.
