Dit jaar zijn er tot nu toe opnieuw meer mensen overleden dan normaal. Sinds 2020 overlijden er elk jaar zo’n 170.000 mensen, bijna 20.000 meer dan in de jaren vóór de coronapandemie. Op basis van deze cijfers wordt de levensverwachting van 65-jarigen nu bijgesteld.
