Istanbul /Nina/ Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said: World public opinion, especially Western countries, is silent or supportive of the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza, stressing that this silence destabilizes the foundations of the world order.
He added during a speech he delivered at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum in Istanbul today: “This silence is a development that leads to the fact that there are no moral values or foundations of international law left in the world that can be used as a reference for future conflicts.”
Fidan pointed out that Israel has continued to occupy the lands for decades, and that about 30,000 innocent people were deliberately killed indiscriminately in this massacre, which began on October 7 and lasted more than 100 days.
He warned of the spread of the repercussions of the war on Gaza to the world, saying: “It may turn into a war that affects the entire world. These rifts and geostrategic consequences may bring burdens and difficulties that the world cannot bear, so everyone must do everything in their power to stop the genocide as soon as possible, and implement a solution.” “The two countries.”
Fidan pointed out that the basis of the problem in Palestine is Israel’s use of force, indicating that it is “a tragedy carried out by a strong, occupying and aggressor party that kills people randomly.”
The Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that the shortcut to stopping this tragedy is the emergence of a force that confronts the Israeli force, but the limited capabilities available to our Palestinian brothers do not make that possible.
Fidan said: “For this reason we believe that using all diplomatic means, putting pressure on Israel to stop the genocide as soon as possible, ensuring a ceasefire and implementing the two-state solution, will be in the interest of the Israeli and Palestinian peoples and the peoples of the region.”/End
