A security source reported, on Sunday, that a drone was shot down that attempted to target the Ain al-Asad base in Anbar Governorate.
The source told Al-Rasheed, “A drone attack targeted the Ain Al-Asad air base in Anbar Governorate, west of the country.”
He added, “The air defenses were able to shoot down the plane in the vicinity of the base.”
