Sheikh Al-Khazali said in his blog post on the (X) platform, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the continued American attacks on Iraqi lives, and the violation of our country’s sovereignty, is evidence of the American contempt and disdain for the Iraqi government and people, which is clearly not the case.” Stop this disdain and recklessness. Rather, it is continuing its attacks, despite the positive steps taken by the esteemed Iraqi government and the commitment to calm by the honorable resistance factions.”
He added, “It is clear that denunciations and condemnations are no longer sufficient, which necessitates the need for Iraq to submit an official request to the UN Security Council demanding the immediate withdrawal of foreign forces, and for Iraq to begin implementing practical measures to enhance its self-defense capabilities against any external aggression.”
He continued, “In this context, the support and solidarity of the Iraqi people becomes essential for the success of these decisive steps, towards restoring full sovereignty over Iraqi lands and airspace, and fortifying the national economy.”
