Sheikh Hamoudi’s media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, President of the Iraqi Islamic Supreme Council, received this Sunday evening in his office, Muhammad al-Halbousi, head of the Taqadum Party, and his accompanying delegation, and they discussed developments in the political arena and prospects for cooperation for Enhancing state-building opportunities.”
The meeting stressed, according to the statement, “the importance of dialogues and consensus between the national forces in ensuring the stability of the political process, the rapid resolution of the presidency of the House of Representatives, and activating its legislative and oversight role.”
They stressed the importance of understandings between the political components in creating a stable national climate that enhances investment opportunities in advancing development and services, and alleviating the suffering of citizens.
