The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced today, Thursday, the killing of a number of Zionist soldiers in the explosion of a booby-trapped tunnel in southern Gaza.
Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement – followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Al-Qassam fighters were able to lure a Zionist infantry force into a tunnel that had been booby-trapped in advance and detonate it with the force members, killing them all in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.”
She added, “Our Mujahideen were also able to ambush a Zionist force and engage in clashes with its members, killing and wounding them in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in Gaza City, where helicopters were spotted landing to evacuate them.”
He continued, “The Mujahideen of the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Martyr Abdul Qader Al-Husseini Brigades were able to launch a “SAM 7” missile at an “Apache” helicopter in the sky of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City,” noting that “the enemy’s operations command headquarters near the Nahal Oz site east of Gaza City was targeted with Rajum and 107 missiles.”
He said, “Two Merkava 4 tanks were targeted with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City. The Mujahideen, in cooperation with the Al-Quds Brigades, also targeted a Zionist Merkava 4 tank with a Shawaaz explosive device in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza.”
The latest update of the Israeli army’s data on its official website shows that the number of its dead since October 7 has reached 277, including officers and soldiers.
