Barcelona have made an official offer to sign Dani Olmo, Leipzig winger, during the current summer transfer window.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Barcelona submitted the official written offer to Olmo’s agents, which includes tying the player to a low salary for 6 years, then increasing it starting from the third year to comply with the Financial Fair Play law.
The official offer, which Olmo’s agents will convey to Leipzig, also includes Barcelona’s willingness to pay the player’s €60 million release clause.
But Barcelona wants to divide the amount into a fixed part and another in the form of variables.
Olmo’s agents are now studying the official offer, and if it is approved, Leipzig will have the final say in the deal.
The Spanish newspaper revealed that Olmo views Barcelona’s offer positively, but he will also study it carefully.
