A security source reported, on Monday evening, that a quarrel had occurred between the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Peace Brigades in the Al-Amel neighborhood in Baghdad, while the Federal Police intervened to control the situation.
The source told Al-Rasheed, “A quarrel occurred between members of the 42nd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces and a group of the Peace Brigades, accompanied by heavy gunfire between the two parties within the Al-Amil neighborhood, southwest of Baghdad.”
He added, “A federal police force intervened and closed the entrances to the area to address the issue and control the situation.”
