The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has granted citizenship to a number of distinguished scientists, researchers, innovators and individuals in several fields.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported: “The royal approval was issued to grant Saudi citizenship to a number of scientists, doctors, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs and distinguished individuals with rare competencies, expertise and specializations, in light of the royal order to grant Saudi citizenship to legal, medical, scientific, cultural, sports and technical competencies in a way that benefits the country in various fields, in line with Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the attractive environment through which human competencies can be invested and the distinguished and creative can be attracted.”
She added, “This comes as an extension of the Kingdom’s interest in attracting the most prominent talents and those with rare specializations whose fields constitute a qualitative addition to the efforts of economic, health, cultural, sports and innovation development in the Kingdom, as the approval of the royal authority had previously been issued to grant Saudi citizenship to a number of distinguished people in these fields in Rabi’ al-Akhir of the year 1443 AH (the year 2021 AD).”
