Negotiations efforts continue to reach an agreement to stop the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, which has been ongoing for 9 months, as sources confirmed that the Gaza deal negotiations will resume in Doha tomorrow and in Cairo on Thursday.
The sources added that there is an agreement on many of the points that were pending between Hamas and Israel.
In a related context, a source from the movement said that the media leaks that the movement agreed to start negotiations regarding prisoners without a ceasefire are inaccurate, stressing that going into details does not benefit the negotiations.
He explained that the movement’s position is fixed, and it is based on two principles: the first is a comprehensive ceasefire, and the second is a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
He also added that Israel wants to negotiate only on the prisoners’ file, while Hamas wants comprehensive negotiations.
He announced that the movement is awaiting the Israeli response to what was agreed upon with the mediators after deep consultations.
