Baqubah / Nina Civil Defense teams rescued 6 workers who were trapped by torrents of water in Jalawla district in Diyala Governorate.
A local source told the correspondent of the Iraqi National News Agency: Nina /: “A detachment from the Civil Defense was able to rescue / 6 / workers who were surrounded by torrential floods, while working in a private factory on the outskirts of Jalawla, northeast of Baquba, the center of the governorate.”
He added: “More than 50 houses were damaged as a result of the strong water torrents that struck the Qara Tappah Basin, northeast of Baqubah, without human losses.”/End
