Baghdad/NinaRaja won the Casablanca derby match after beating its counterpart, Wydad, 2-0, in the match that brought together the two teams this evening, Wednesday, at Al-Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia, as part of the fourteenth round of the Moroccan League for the current season 2023-2024.
The derby confrontation between Wydad and Raja was held without a public presence, by decision of the Competitions Committee of the Moroccan Federation, to avoid riots between fans of the two teams.
The two goals of the match came in the second half, by Hisham Ait Braim, through an own goal, and Mohamed Zoraida, in the 51st and 64th minutes of the match.
Raja leads the Moroccan league standings with 30 points, 3 points ahead of runner-up Royal Army with 27 points, while Wydad’s score stops at 23 points in third place./End2
