Baghdad / Nina The Meteorology Authority expected continued rainfall and thunderstorms, with varying degrees of temperature, during the coming days.
A statement from the Authority stated: “The expected weather tomorrow, Friday, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with moderate to heavy rain falling in the eastern sections and a chance of torrential rains at night in the central and southern regions, while the weather will be cloudy with heavy rain falling, increasing in intensity at night and storms occurring.” Thunderstorms with snow falling over the mountain highlands, and temperatures will drop slightly from the previous day in the central region, and will be close to the previous day in the northern region, and will rise slightly in the southern region of the country.”
He added: “The expected weather on Saturday will be partly cloudy, gradually turning to clear in the central and southern regions. In the northern region, the weather will be cloudy with moderate intensity rain, and snow will fall in its mountainous parts. Temperatures will be similar to the previous day in the central region, and will decrease.” Temperatures slightly higher than the previous day in the northern and southern sections.
The statement continued: “The expected weather next Sunday will be fair to partly cloudy, and temperatures will rise slightly from the previous day in the central region, and in the northern region the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with thundershowers, and snow will fall in its mountainous sections, and the temperatures will fall.” Similar to the previous day, while the weather in the southern region will be fair with some clouds, and temperatures will be similar to the previous day, while the expected weather next Monday will be partly cloudy with a chance of thundershowers in the central region, and in the northern region the weather will be partly cloudy to Cloudy with scattered rain showers that may be thundery at times, while the weather in the southern region will be clear with some clouds, and temperatures will be similar to the previous day in all regions of the country.”/ End 2
