A security source reported today, Tuesday, that a gambling hall was raided, 17 people were arrested, and alcoholic beverages and gaming equipment were seized south of Baghdad.
The source told Al-Rasheed, “A force from the Karkh police raided a gambling hall (the Legend’s Hall) and arrested 17 people who were inside it and seized alcoholic beverages and gambling tools in the Dora area, south of the capital.”
He added, “The operation came after an appeal from the residents of the area to the security forces.”
