When Jules (Tambrea) starts his shift on the escort phone, a telephone support line for women to get home safely, everything looks like a quiet Saturday evening. That is until he receives a call from a young mother named Klara (Heyer), who claims that she will die that very night at the hands of a notorious female killer. He has given her an ultimatum: either she kills her husband (Mücke) or she will be murdered. So begins Klara’s desperate escape from the so-called Calendar Killer – with Jules on the phone, who is her only hope of salvation.
“It’s too late,” Klara tells Jules in there trailer as their call begins. “I’m going to be killed tonight.” Flashbacks show her waking in a dirty, disused room with the words: “06.12. Him or you. One will die.”
The trailer shows the fractures in Klara and her husband’s relationship, as she has visions of insects and creepy-crawlies, and her believes she is not taking her medication. “Does it get to the point where I have to have you admitted to a hospital,” he warns in a controlling manner as he firmly holds her hand at a dinner. Later, the Calendar Killer appears to close in on Klara and Jules shouts, “Klara, tell me what is going on” before the line goes dead and the trailer ends.
