The head of the Taqaddam Party, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, stressed today, Wednesday, the importance of completing constitutional dues and electing the Speaker of Parliament.
Al-Halbousi’s media office stated, in a statement received by Al-Rasheed, that “The head of the Taqaddam Party, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, accompanied by a delegation from the party, met today with the head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki.”
He added, “The meeting discussed developments in the political situation in the country, and emphasized the importance of completing constitutional dues and electing the Speaker of the House of Representatives in accordance with the legal contexts and electoral dues, and resolving differences through dialogue and consensus between political forces.”
