Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar won the final time trial of the 2024 Tour de France in Nice on Sunday, beating defending Danish champion Jonas Vingegaard. Having secured the Giro d’Italia earlier this year, the win not only marks Pogacar’s third Tour de France win, but also sees him joining an elite club of double winners, the last of whom was Italian cycylist Marco Pantani in 1998.
