The Pentagon announced that the United States will begin deploying its long-range weapons, including hypersonic ones, in Germany in 2026.
The Pentagon said in a statement on Wednesday that the deployment of the forces will begin in 2026 as part of planning to deploy those forces permanently in the future.
The Pentagon explained that the weapons to be deployed will include SM-6 and Tomahawk missiles, in addition to hypersonic weapons currently under development.
The Pentagon confirmed that the weapons to be deployed will have a longer range than those currently deployed in Europe.
