Basra / NinaToday, Basra police arrested four accused drug dealers in the Shatt al-Arab district.
The Basra Governorate Police Command said in a statement that the detachments of the Anti-Crime Department, and through diligent follow-up and investigation, identified one of the most dangerous drug trafficking networks in the governorate.
She added, “After determining the whereabouts of the accused, a work team was formed under the supervision of the director of the department, and in a qualitative and proactive operation, they were raided and arrested.”
She added, “They were found in possession of a Kalashnikov rifle, two pistols, and narcotic substances. Legal measures were taken against the accused and they were referred to the competent authorities.”/End
