In de Franse komedie Pour le plaisir wordt de uitvinding van de Womanizer uit de doeken gedaan. Opmerkelijk is dat de makers een Franse ingenieur de eer gunnen, terwijl in werkelijkheid een Duitse collega – de inmiddels 76-jarige Michael Lenke – de revolutionaire luchtdrukvibrator ontwierp na bestudering van het waterpompje in het aquarium van zijn dochter.
