In het Erasmus MC in Rotterdam zijn vorig jaar opvallend veel mensen met een aangeboren hartafwijking overleden rond de operatie. Daarom laat het universitair medisch centrum daar onderzoek naar doen. Een patroon of een oorzaak is nog niet gevonden.
