Baghdad / Nina / The Baghdad Municipality announced the opening of the Al-Qadisiyah Corniche, the parks at the approaches to the Jadriya Bridge, and other parks in the Al-Saydiyah area, to celebrate the spring holidays and to implement the directives of the Prime Minister.
The Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa, said in a press statement, “The approaches to the Jadriya Bridge and the Qadisiyah Corniche were opened to citizens, after completing their development by implementing green areas, planting trees, implementing fountains and seating areas for citizens, and installing modern lighting poles, in addition to rehabilitating the Corniche, paving it with stone, and installing seating terraces with views.” To the river.”
He added: “A group of parks were opened, including two new parks in the Saydiya area, and 10 new parks were opened in different locations in the city of Baghdad, to contribute to the campaign to increase green spaces in the capital, which was launched by the municipality with the aim of combating desertification, staving off the impact of climate change, and addressing environmental pollution.” ./End 5
