Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Oil revealed an ambitious plan to raise the quality of petroleum derivatives, while calling on citizens to develop systems to use liquid gas in their vehicles.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Refining Affairs, Hamid Al-Zubaie, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Ministry has promising plans to raise the quality of petroleum derivatives, by establishing modern units in the Holy Karbala Refinery, which is called (Euro 5) and its products are environmentally friendly on the one hand.” Quality and quality of use.
He pointed out, “There are three types of gasoline that entered Iraq after the operation of the Holy Karbala refinery, which is super gasoline (SuperIts octane rating is 95, and we gave it a green color, so that citizens can distinguish it from other types.”
He continued, “Improved gasoline has an octane rating of 90-92, and regular gasoline has an octane rating of 85.”
He stated, “There is a project to use liquid gas in vehicles, where the octane percentage in liquid gas is 110, which is more than super, which is 95,” noting that “the process of using liquid gas is more comfortable, at a lower cost, and requires less maintenance.”
Al-Zobaie called on citizens to install systems to use liquid gas in their vehicles, which will reduce the cost of use and the quality of the product will be very high.
