Oil prices rose in trading today, Monday, in light of fears of a decline in global crude supplies due to escalating tension in the Middle East.
By 11:03 Baghdad time, US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose by 0.51% to $81.04 per barrel, while Brent crude futures rose by 0.44% to $85.81 per barrel.
Last Friday, black gold prices declined in the markets due to the rise in the dollar, and US crude recorded a decline of 0.55% and closed at $80.63 per barrel, while Brent crude fell by 0.4% to $85.43 per barrel.
