Oil prices continue to rise in light of the tensions in the Middle East region, and the price of a barrel of Brent oil in today’s trading, Friday, exceeded the level of $91 for the first time since October 2023.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose by 0.30% to $86.85 per barrel, while global Brent crude futures rose by 0.49% to $91.09 per barrel.
The US crude oil and Brent recorded in yesterday’s trading at settlement the highest level since October of last year.
Now, the two crude oils are heading to record gains of about 5% this week, and oil prices continue to rise for the second week in a row.
