Baghdad / Nina/ Emilio Nsouye, the Equatorial Guinea national team striker, won the title of top scorer in the 2023 African Cup of Nations, which was held in Côte d’Ivoire.
Nassaoui scored 5 goals in the current edition of Cannes, including a hat-trick against hosts Côte d’Ivoire.
No other player was able to break the women’s record, despite the exit of the Equatorial Guinea team from the round of 16 by Guinea with a score of 0-1.
Nsaoui became the second player from Equatorial Guinea to win this title, after Javier Balboa also achieved it in the 2015 edition with 3 goals, equally with Ghanaian Andre Ayew, Tunisian Ahmed Alakaishi, Deumercy Mbokani and Tefi Bifuma.
The Côte d’Ivoire national team won the African Cup of Nations for the third time in its history, after defeating Nigeria 2-1 in the final match yesterday evening./End 9
