Paris Saint-Germain announced the list of those absent from Barcelona’s match, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
After 13 minutes of the match between Paris and Clermont Foot, coach Luis Enrique was forced to include Achraf Hakimi instead of Nordi Mukele, who suffered a severe injury after violent contact with the opponent’s goalkeeper.
Saint-Germain said in an official statement: “After the examinations conducted by the neurologist, Nordi Mukiele will continue the concussion recovery protocol in the coming days.”
Thus, player Nordi Mukele will officially miss the upcoming Barcelona match.
Mukiele’s absence will be a strong blow to Paris, because Achraf Hakimi will also miss the Barcelona match due to suspension.
Saint-Germain’s statement added: “Presnel Kimpembe, the team’s defender, continues his rehabilitation exercises to recover from his injury.”
