Barcelona club announced today, Tuesday, the diagnosis of Pedri, the Catalan team’s midfielder.
Barcelona said in an official statement: “New medical tests were conducted today on Pedri, and they confirmed that he suffers from an internal lateral sprain in his left knee. The player will miss the matches and his return depends on the pace of his recovery from the injury.”
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Pedri will be absent from the stadiums for a month, and he may join the Joan Gamper Cup against Monaco on August 12.
It is noteworthy that Pedri was part of the Spain squad that won the Euro 2024 title, after winning the final match against England (2-1) last Sunday.
