Al-Najaf Club announced its official contract with Senegalese professional Dominic Mendy, coming from the Tunisian Stadium team, to represent Ghazlan Al Badia in the Iraq Stars League.

A statement from the media office of the Najaf Club, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “midfielder Mendy (24 years old) had previously played several stages with Tunisian clubs, most notably Esperance and Al-Mastad. The club also completed a second African deal, after obtaining the signature of the Tunisian professional (Al-Bashir). Bin Muhammad Al-Ghariani) coming from Ittihad Ben Guerdane, who is good at playing in the attacking position, and is 23 years old.
The statement added, “Najaf Club, under the leadership of its new coach, Abdul Ghani Shahad, is looking to improve its image in the upcoming rounds of the Iraq Stars League, and to take advantage of the winter Mercato with contracts of high technical value.”
It is noteworthy that Najaf contracted with the duo (Mohammed Dawoud and Alaa Mahawi) until the end of the season, where they began group training that began in the Najaf secondary stadium in preparation for the league matches and the 32nd round of the cup tournament.
