Najaf International Airport announced that it received more than 71 thousand visitors from the 1st of Muharram to the 9th of Muharram.
The airport’s media spokesman, Muthanna Al-Talqani, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “During this period, the airport received more than 606 flights from various destinations, with the number of arrivals reaching 71,106 passengers, while the number of departures reached 64,704 passengers.”
Al-Talqani pointed out that “the airport, according to the directives of the Director General of Airports and Air Navigation and the Director of Najaf International Airport from the Lower Site Abbas Sabbar Al-Baydani, has completed all airport preparations to provide the necessary services for travelers to visit the tenth of Muharram on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).”
