Najaf/Nina/ The Chairman of the Najaf Provincial Council, Hussein Al-Issawi, directed Governor Youssef Gannawi to form an investigative committee on the investment opportunity in the Tal Al-Sayyagh area in the Kufa District, and to inform the Provincial Council of the results of the committee after irregularities were reported in the investment referral file for the project.
This came during the weekly session of the Council, which was held on a Ramadan evening in which Governor Youssef Gnawi was hosted to discuss the service and investment reality and the reality of work in government departments in the governorate.
Gnawi said during the hosting session that he would not treat his work in the governorate’s administration with the same party bias, pointing out that a committee had been formed to evaluate the work of district directors, and district directors were given an opportunity until the end of the month of Ramadan for this evaluation.
Gnawi called for developing a clear investment map in the governorate, stressing the need for the governorate’s international airport to be administratively and financially located in Najaf, and technically, from Baghdad./End.
