Today, Saturday, the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, condemned the American targeting of a number of headquarters on the Iraqi-Syrian border.
Al-Sayyed Al-Hakim said, in a tweet followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the rugby visit this year takes place under exceptional circumstances that Iraq is going through, including the American targeting of a number of headquarters on the Iraqi-Syrian border, in conjunction with the exceptional conditions we are experiencing in Gaza.”
He expressed his “condemnation of these actions that destabilize the security and stability of the region,” stressing that “these circumstances do not diminish the resolve of the visitors, but rather increase their drive to follow and adhere to the path of the People of the House (peace be upon them).”
