The British newspaper “Daily Mail” considered that the star Mohamed Salah risks angering the Egyptians after entering training with his English team, Liverpool, at a time when the national team officials complained of their inability to communicate with the Egyptian captain, amid a dispute between the club and the national team over the fitness of the top scorer.
Salah was seen practicing with Liverpool on Wednesday before the team’s match on Thursday against Sparta Prague in the Europa League final, as this happened one day after Egyptian national team officials complained of their inability to communicate with the great scorer.
She continued: The dispute between the two parties flared up after the last African Cup of Nations when the player decided to return to Liverpool and leave the national team following his injury, while the club was looking to treat the player in the best possible way.
The Egyptian Federation said through media statements that it would include Salah on its list if he played any minute with Liverpool, but the latter intends to follow a conservative method to include the top scorer to avoid a return of injury.
Salah played only a match and a half with Liverpool 3 months ago, as he played the entire match with Newcastle on January 1st, and after his injury, he played the Brentford match in the middle of last month before the injury recurred.
Hossam Hassan is currently coaching the Egyptian national team, after the dismissal of Portuguese coach Rui Vitoria, following their exit from the Africa Cup of Nations final against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
