A Spanish press report revealed, today, Wednesday, the intention of Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, to sacrifice a huge number if he leaves the Parc des Princes.
Mbappe’s contract with Paris expires at the end of the current season, amid reports of Real Madrid’s desire to include him on a free transfer deal.
Over the past few days, French reports have indicated that Mbappe has already made his decision and will move to Real Madrid next summer.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Mbappe promised Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, last August that the Qatari man would be the first to know about the player’s final decision regarding his future.
The newspaper added that the agreement reached by Mbappe and Al-Khelaifi also included that if he left, he would not receive the 80 million euros due from Paris.
The Spanish newspaper AS explained that this amount is part of a loyalty bonus that had previously been agreed upon upon renewing the contract in the summer of 2022 for two seasons.
This agreement stipulated that Mbappe would receive an amount of 150 million euros, 70 million for the first season, and 80 million for the second season.
