Spanish Football League President Javier Tebas expressed his conviction that Kylian Mbappe will sign or has already signed with Real Madrid, according to what he told the French newspaper L’Equipe in an interview published on Friday.
Mbappe (25 years old) informed his club, Paris Saint-Germain, in early February of his intention to leave at the end of the current season.
“Knowing that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain, there is a 99 percent chance that Mbappe will sign for Real Madrid,” Tebas said. “But I don’t know if he has actually signed.”
He added, “This is big news for Real Madrid and for Spanish football. He is one of the best players in the world. From my point of view, (Judd) Bellingham, (Erling) Haaland and Mbappe are the three most dominant players on the planet, and two of them are now at Real Madrid.”
Tebas praised the way Real Madrid is managed, saying, “Economically, they are very efficient.”
He continued, “At the moment, their financial results are very good and they can spend much more than they spend. Real Madrid was very careful financially and was ready to sign Mbappe.”
