Today, Sunday, Maysan Governorate announced the completion rates achieved in the governorate’s entrances project, while specifying the total cost of the project.

The resident engineer of the project, Majeed Ibrahim, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The completion rate of the Maysan Gates project reached more than 90 percent,” indicating that “the total cost of the project reached more than one billion and 800 million dinars.”
He explained, “The governorate’s entrance gates fall within the emergency support projects for food security, and are being implemented according to designs that mimic the cultural heritage of Maysan Governorate,” noting that “the project will contribute to the smooth entry of vehicles since the governorate contains four entrances.”
He added, “The establishment of these gates comes in line with the governorate’s need to develop projects that keep pace with modernity in the road system and add an aesthetic touch to it.”
